Crespel & Deiters is one of the leading specialists in Germany and Europe for the separation of wheat into its constituent parts of wheat starch, wheat protein, wheat fibres and wheat extracts and their refinement to customised products. With the production of wheat-based raw materials in the Crespel & Deiters Group, with our different brands in the processing to highly functional products and with our knowledge in the field of extrusion, we work at various locations in Germany and Europe for many industries in the food, non-food and feed sector.

In Ibbenbüren, North Rhine-Westphalia, the Crespel & Deiters Group produces its wheat-based raw materials wheat starches, wheat proteins, wheat fibres and wheat extracts. The brands C&D Corrugating & Paper, C&D Technical Applications, Trigea as well as Crespeo are also located here and refine the raw materials in state-of-the-art wheat starch factories, turning them into functional products and application-oriented solutions.
Loryma, which is located in Zwingenberg, in the south of Hesse, is the brand for the food division of the Crespel & Deiters Group that develops and refines wheat-based food ingredients to optimise industrially-produced foods. Here over 50 employees work on the production of wheat proteins, native and modified wheat starches and wheat-based functional blends for the international food industry. Innovations for new food concepts are also created in our own product development department.
Extrusion is an important part of the qualitative production process of the Crespel & Deiters Group. This important part of the work is performed within the Group by the leading Dutch extrusion specialist Extruded Cereal Products. At the company’s site in Helmond, the Netherlands, wheat protein is extruded to develop and produce innovative textures for food production.

The Crespel & Deiters Group’s headquarters is in Ibbenbüren. This is where Group-wide research & development, quality management, quality assurance, and quality control take place. In the central wheat starch factory, the wheat flour is broken down into its components and refined into wheat-based raw materials.
