Wheat provides us with natural plant-based raw materials as the foundation for sustainable solutions that support our customers’ animal feed in their functionality when it comes to the texture, stability and nutrient density. In addition it can also give the pet food the desired appearance. This is because each constituent part of the grain has its own properties and possible applications. Plant-based raw materials for animal feed: high standards and guaranteed GMO-free.
The Crespel & Deiters Group uses only EU wheat for the production of its wheat-based plant-based raw materials. With this wheat, of which at least 75% come from German cultivation, Trigea develops products and solutions for industrial animal feed. This guarantees that the plant-based raw material contains no genetically modified constituent parts. What is more, using supply-chain specifications, Crespel & Deiters ensures that all upstream processes are evaluated in accordance with a HACCP system and that possible risks related to chemical, physical and microbiological contamination have been minimised or excluded. In the production of the highly functional products for animal feed, Trigea does not use any genetically modified organisms or aromas. Thus, our products can be labelled as “GMO-free” in accordance with the EU regulation 1829/1830 of 2003.
