Crespeo’s Crespovit® Flour pregelatinised flours provide young animals with valuable, highly digestible nutrients in milk substitutes and prestarters. With the pregelatinised flours, the energy can rapidly be absorbed by calves, piglets and lambs. Depending on the needs, the application rate of the pregelatinised flours ranges between 5–15 % in the feed mixes and milk substitutes. Crespovit® Flour, with at least 75% digested starch, promotes the tolerance of vegetable, wheat-based carbohydrates and enriches the feed with important nutrients, thanks to the soluble proteins from the pregelatinised flour. The good solubility of the pregelatinised flours leads to a homogeneous solution, thereby reducing disturbances in feed intake and sedimentation of the product in the feeding technique. The highly digestible, extruded Crespovit® Flour pregelatinised flours for milk substitutes and prestarters are particularly suitable for the stabilisation of fatty systems and are ideal as a binding agent and carrier material of fatty products. The flour is sterilised, thereby avoiding microbiological activities and minimising contamination with pathogens.
