The three hares symbol has a long tradition in our region. The message it contains about connection, community and movement has shaped Crespel & Deiters since it was founded.

Committed to the whole process.

For 160 years our thoughts, development and actions have been focused on the sustainable raw material that is wheat and its processing to create innovative solutions which provide our customers with long-term added value for their companies and their products. Trust, connection, openness and loyalty are what we stand for.

We are bound by our commitment to our customers, our employees and the environment. A passion for nature means that we act in an environmentally responsible manner throughout the company. We maintain open and respectful interaction both with our employees and with our suppliers and service providers. As a family company, we are always very closely linked to our sites and therefore also to our environment, to our neighbours and to our communities. Our close relationships with our customers enable us to meet our quality and innovation standards. This responsibility is the basis for the sustainability of our work.

Sustainability – for today and tomorrow.

With our commitment to sustainability that is supported by all of our managers and employees, we want to do our part in protecting the environments we impact for future generations.

Committed to sustainability.

Crespel & Deiters is a fifth generation family-run owner-managed and globally active company. Since 1858, our products have been obtained from sustainable wheat-based raw materials using a miling process and physical separation methods; these products are used in a wide range of applications in the food and non-food industries.

Success brings responsibility.

As a German, locally producing group, a regional employer and fair, long-term partner, the Crespel & Deiters Group faces up to its responsibilities every day. We only use EU wheat, with at least 75% coming from German cultivation. Decomposed into wheat-based raw materials by our long-standing, experienced employees at the headquarter in Ibbenbüren and refined to highly functional products by our brands. As a fair partner, we maintain a long-term cooperation with our suppliers. The group and its employees are also involved locally in initiatives, events and associations.

Through our voluntary participation in the UN Global Compact, we are committed to the 10 principles, reporting on our activities and broader goals in an annual CoP (Communication on Progress) publication.

Statutory compliance

To sustainably strengthen and safeguard our corporate success, mutual trust – internally and externally – is an indispensable prerequisite.
